A pretty nice book by By Vic Kelloe
Mack and Misha are 8 year old twins who LOVE using the Internet. They use it for everything – talking to friends, doing homework, playing games, watching videos and sending messages. In fact, they don’t really know how to do any of these things WITHOUT the Internet! But one Saturday morning, the Internet STOPS – for a whole day!
How do Mack and Misha cope? Will it be their worst day ever…?
Written by the mother of an 8 year old internet addict, “The Day the Internet Stopped” is a story designed to appeal to boys and girls age 6-8 years.
It has 10 short chapters, each with a colour illustration (see “Look Inside” for a full Picture Preview). It can be read alone by 7-8 year olds of average reading ability. Younger children or less confident readers may benefit from an adult reader to read along with them.
Two more books are published by the same author (and illustrated by me)
